Q?What material are the chair covers?
A.

Yes. Cover It Up can provide instructions and examples for a variety of ways to tie the sashes, including the Basic Bow, the Square Knot, the Flip Knot, and the Rosette. Looks can vary from elegant to contemporary to whimsical—whatever suits your style.

Q?Do the chair covers come in different sizes?
A.

There are two sizes of chair covers: the standard banquet chair and the oversized banquet chair. Our chair covers fit the chairs at event venues across the Madison area, including the non-standard chairs at The Overture Center and the Legend at Bergamont.

Q?What are the dimensions for the standard-size chair covers?
A.

Standard banquet chair measurements: height from top of chair to floor is 35¼”; height from seat to floor is 18”; width of seat is 18”; width of top of chair is 16”; depth of front leg to back leg is 16”. We always recommend trying a cover on the chair to ensure a correct fit.

Q?What are the dimensions for the oversized chair covers?
A.

Oversized banquet chair measurements: height from top of chair to floor is 37”; height from seat to floor is 19”; width of seat is 19”; width of top of chair is 18½”; depth of front leg to back leg is 17½”. We always recommend trying a cover on the chair to ensure a correct fit.

Q?Are the chair covers pressed?
A.

All chair covers are individually hand pressed and hung on hangers.

Q?What is the cost of the chair covers?
A.

Q?What color are the sashes?
A.

Cover It Up carries over 60 colors of sashes. If you don’t see the color you are looking for, just let us know—we are happy to accommodate your needs.

Q?Are set up and take down of chair covers and sashes included?
A.

Set up and take down are not included. Set up is an additional $1.50 per chair and includes placement of the chair cover and tying of the sash in your desired style. Take down is an additional $1.00 per chair.

Q?If I decide to pick up the chair covers, how will I transport them?
A.

The chair covers are very easy to transport. All of the chair covers come on hangers and in plastic bags. Approximately 200 chair covers can lay flat in the trunk of a standard size car.

Q?What material are the sashes?
A.

The sashes are 100% satin and are made in the US.

Q?What are the dimensions of the sashes?
A.

The sashes are 8 inches wide and 108 inches long (8”x108”).

Q?Are there different ways to tie the sashes?
A.

Yes. Cover It Up can provide instructions and examples for a variety of ways to tie the sashes, including the Basic Bow, the Square Knot, the Flip Knot, and the Rosette. Looks can vary from elegant to contemporary to whimsical—whatever suits your style.

Q?How should I care for the sashes at my event?
A.

The use of pins, staples, or sharp objects that will put holes into the fabric is prohibited. Sashes should be untied for return to Cover It Up.

Q?What is the cost of the sash?
A.

Rental is $1.50 per sash.

Q?When I pick up the sashes, how are they stored?
A.

All sashes come folded and are stored in plastic bins.

Q?What material are the table runners?
A.

The table runners are 100% satin and are made in the US.

Q?What are the dimensions of the table runners?
A.

The table runners are 14 inches wide and 108 inches long (14”x108”).

Q?Do the table runners fit different shapes of tables?
A.

Yes. The table runners can be used on round, square, or rectangular tables. They can also be combined for specialty tables, multi-color combinations, or unique looks.

Q?How should I care for the table runners at my event?
A.

The use of pins, staples, or sharp objects that will put holes into the fabric is prohibited. Crumbs should be removed from table runners for return to Cover It Up.

Q?What is the cost of the table runners?
A.

The rental cost is $3.75 per runner.

Q?When I pick up the table runners, how are they stored?
A.

The table runners come folded in plastic bins.

Q?Are delivery and pick up included?
A.

Delivery and pick up are not included. Delivery and pick up in the greater Madison area is $35 each way. Pickup is arranged in advance for a weekday, and return is arranged in advance for 2 days after the event; special accommodations can be made in advance to suit client needs. If you’d like delivery or pick up outside of the Madison area, please request a price quote.

Q?Are delivery and pick up required?
A.

No. You have the option to pick up and drop off the chair covers, sashes, or table runners for no additional charge. Pick up and drops offs are set up by appointment.

Q?If I decide to pick up the chair covers, how will I transport them?
A.

The chair covers are very easy to transport. All of the chair covers come on hangers and in plastic bags. Approximately 200 chair covers can lay flat in the trunk of a standard size car.

Q?Are set up and take down of chair covers and sashes required?
A.

Set up and take down of the chair covers and sashes are not required. You have the option of simply renting the chair covers and sashes and doing set up and take down yourself.

Q?Will Cover It Up show me how to put on chair covers and tie sashes?
A.

Cover It Up will show you how to put on chair covers and we will demonstrate a variety of sash ties.

Q?How long does it take to set up chair covers and sashes?
A.

It depends on how many people are helping. With four people helping it takes about one hour to put on 100 hundred chair covers and sashes.

Q?If I choose to take down the chair covers, sashes, and table runners, what do I put them in once they are taken down?
A.

Cover It Up provides laundry bags. Upon return, chair covers, sashes and table runners are to be sorted into separate laundry bags. The sashes are to be returned untied. The table runners are to have crumbs removed.

Q?How do I reserve a date?
A.

Contact Cover It Up and request a contract. Fill out the contract, sign it, and return the contract with a $25 deposit.

Q?Is the $35 deposit refundable?
A.

The $35 deposit is nonrefundable but will be applied toward your balance.

Q?What types of payment do you accept?
A.

Cover It Up accepts cash, check and payment through Venmo.

Q?When do I need to give a final count on the number of chair covers, sashes, or table runners?
A.

An estimated count is due two weeks prior to your event, and a final count is required one week before the event.
